We are searching for an enthusiastic Business Development Manager (BDM) responsible for prospecting and generating new industry sales. This position requires meeting with clients at their offices and in the field to establish excellent long-term customer relationships, educate clients on the products and services we offer, and seek further opportunities through direct references and referrals. The BDM will perform essential duties and responsibilities through professional customer service, teamwork, and our specific software programs.

Job Responsibilities for the Business Development Manager:

  • Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and sales goals in support of business and national objectives
  • Increase business by generating profitable sales with new and existing clients
  • Qualify prospects for new accounts and expand client database within a geographical territory via personal sales calls on a regular basis, cold calls, site visits, and direct coordination with contractors, channel partners, end-user clients, and service
  • Meet personal and sales team goals including fiscal responsibilities, market, and company objectives
  • Gather and report to management information regarding the company, competitors, pricing, products and current and future market trends as well as assists management in planning, tracking, and implantation of sales strategies for development of new markets
  • Provide professional customer service for our customers along with outside sales support through telephone, email, and website correspondence
  • Evaluate customers’ needs and build profitable long-lasting relationships
  • Educate new and existing customers on all aspects of the company
  • Introduce and demonstrate new products and technologies to prospective clients and assigned accounts
  • Work with Administrative Sales teams to build and strengthen long-term customer relationships
  • Maintain proper training and certifications as required
  • Prioritize one’s own Anticipates potential problems, or opportunities for change. Sets and meets realistic deadlines. Forecasts changes and communicates current and projected issues
  • Consult and provide advice, facilitate discussion and resolve conflict; establish trust; build and use cross‐functional relationships to accomplish objectives
  • Understand and work within our specialized software
  • Collect data, provide various reporting and support for Management team
  • Travel to and from office locations as needed
  • Regularly meet with Electrical Director to discuss activities, feedback, market status & progress

Successful Candidates Will:

  • Have strong technical knowledge of electrical industry, from engineering to distribution
  • Have a strong list of contacts in the O&G and Utility industries to help facilitate sales

Knowledge, Requirements, and Skills:

  • Experience in technical and/or industrial B to B sales

  • Responsible, organized, with superior planning & time management skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent, sales or industry-based experience required with proven record of success
  • Previous technical/software sales experience and 5+ years business to business sales experience
  • Computer proficiency in Windows, Microsoft, & Salesforce CRM
  • Must have valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Additional skills may be required to perform additional task(s) specific to department or business needs

We are currently seeking an Apprentice Lineman to work in the Oil Fields of West Texas, office located in Odessa, TX. This is a rewarding opportunity for self-motivated individuals who can perform with minimal supervision.

Under the direction of the Foreman, the Apprentice Lineman must safely install, troubleshoot, repair and remove overhead/underground distribution power lines within the scope of his/her training. The Apprentice Lineman must safely operate various equipment including but not limited to, bucket trucks, digger derrick, pickup trucks, excavation and track equipment.

Job Requirements for Apprentice Lineman:

  • Valid Class A CDL (or the ability to obtain) for the State of Texas
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Graduation from Accredited Lineman School a plus
  • Successfully pass background and drug screen testing
  • Ability to travel and work in various locations including out of state if necessary

Essential Functions for Apprentice Lineman:

  • Work safely in a Team Environment
  • Operate Overhead Line Equipment, e.g., Bucket Truck, Boom Truck
  • Ability to perform rigorous physical labor in all types of weather, hot/cold
  • Capable of working at heights
  • Maintain Company Vehicle, equipment and tools per Company Standards
  • Must be able to climb wood poles
  • Understands grounding procedures
  • Proper knowledge of required PPE, inspection, care and use
  • Trained and knowledgeable in the install and construction of Overhead Power Line Facilities

This is a rewarding opportunity for self-motivated electricians who can perform with minimal supervision. Individuals will be involved in installation, maintenance and troubleshooting commercial and industrial oil related facilities in and around the West Texas area per customer request and accepted customer specifications to include working in a safe and professional manner.

Job Requirements for Electrician:

  • Valid Texas Driver’s License (Texas CDL a plus)
  • TDLR License
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Successfully pass background and drug screen testing
  • Ability to travel and work in various locations including out of state if necessary

Essential Functions for Electrician:

  • Work safely and effectively in a team environment
  • Maintain positive attitude towards completing job and complying with all company policies
  • Ability to perform rigorous physical labor in all types of weather, hot/cold
  • Understand and proficient in bending conduit, wire pulling practices, terminating conductors
